  • Free Clinic for the indigent 2 to 4 times a week serving an average of 400 - 500 people a month 2001-2006
  • Organizing a free Clinic for the indigent through ISHA foundation Mobile Hospital twice a month serving 250 people a month from May 2007

Medical Activities
Childhood Health and Nutrition

  • Built a modern latrine for the use of 35 children at the Day Care Center
  • Provided uniforms for all 35 children at the Day Care Center
  • Donated Gas Cylinder & Stove to Day Care Center to provide hot nutritious meals to 35 children
  • Provide hot cup of milk mixed with homemade high protein-carbohydrate nutrient powder to all tutored children.







Educational Activities


  • Daily evening tuition classes for 3 hours for 80 under privileged children from grade I through XII during the school year 2005
  • Uniforms & Notebooks for the needy children every year from 2005
  • Daily evening tuition classes for 25 to 60 grade VI through XII children 2007
  • Donated large round tables to the Government Elementary Schools at Uthukuli for small group discussion with students
  • 3-month sewing instruction course for 30 under privileged women during 2005 and 2006

Cultual and Religious Activities


  • Organised moral classes for school children at our premises taught by the faculty of Vivekananda College from Thiruvedagam
  • Oragnised Raja Yoga classes for adultsconductedby Brahma Kumaris
  • Organised weekly Bhajans for the public by Sai Seva Samidhi at the trust premises
  • Weekly Sloka classes for women, during which Sowndarya Lahari, Lalitha Sahasranamam, Nava Varnam Annapoornashtakam etc., were taught by Sri.Anantharaman, a local scholar.

Civic Activities

  • Built 4 Trash Bins to collect and burn trash
  • A 3-wheel cycle-rickshaw donated to the village to collect trash daily and take it to the landfill
  • Provide uniforms bi-annually to the trash collectors
  • Daily maintenance of 4 public toilet-bathing complexes with 32 toilets and 8 bathrooms
  • Built individual toilets for 30 families

Old Age Health Care

  • Provided blankets for 60 people during the winter time in 2003
  • Provided free food for 25 people each day for 2 months until the Tamilnadu Government started a free food scheme for poor

Micro Credit Scheme

More than 30 small-scale entrepreneurs have been able toestablish or expand their business such as

  • barbershop
  • taxis and
  • printing press etc
